East African Journal of Neurological Sciences
EAJNS Bulletin : A review of the year to date, with a focus on African developments
By Faisal Mohamed Nageyle and Wallace Munyiri.
Abstract
The Bulletin is a new addition to the quarterly issues of the journal. Its purpose is to keep readers informed of significant developments in neurosurgery and the neurosciences in concise, accessible form. This inaugural instalment covers society and professional news; neurosurgery in Africa, including training initiatives and continental meetings; new evidence on middle meningeal artery embolisation for subdural haematoma; advances in brain-computer interfaces and neuro-oncology; and a calendar of forthcoming events. Items are drawn from publicly available sources, and the Bulletin does not replace the primary literature.
