Abstract
This study aims to analyze the physical condition profile of Arema FC Women players based on physical condition components, player positions, physical performance gaps, and training development priorities. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method involving tests and measurements. The study population consisted of 23 Arema FC Women players; a total sampling technique was used, meaning all players served as the sample. Research instruments included the Illinois Agility Test (agility), Standing Broad Jump (leg muscle explosive power), 20-meter sprint (speed), Bleep Test (aerobic endurance), and Standing Trunk Flexion (flexibility). Data analysis utilized descriptive statistics, frequency distribution, analysis by player position, Physical Performance Gap Analysis, and Training Priority Analysis. The results indicate that endurance was the strongest physical component, with 78.3% of players falling into the "good" to "excellent" categories, followed by agility (69.6%) and explosive power (69.5%). Conversely, speed was the weakest component, with 60.9% of players in the "fair" category and 17.4% in the "poor" category. Regarding player positions, midfielders demonstrated the best endurance (41.20), forwards showed the best speed (3.40 seconds), goalkeepers exhibited the highest explosive power (2.12 m) and flexibility (27.50 cm), while defenders displayed the best agility (17.45 seconds). Performance gap analysis revealed the largest deficit in the flexibility component (-12.5%), followed by speed (+8.6%), explosive power (-8.1%), endurance (-7.6%), and agility (+6.7%). These findings indicate that the physical condition of Arema FC Women players is generally in the "quite good" category; however, improving speed, flexibility, and explosive power needs to be a top priority when designing position-specific training programs to optimize team performance.
