Abstract
A black patient (9-month-old infant) attended the Quelimane Hospital in Mozambique with warty lesions at the level of the anal introitus, a pathology that is not common for patients in this age group. The mother reports that the lesions appeared suddenly and increased. The patient is evaluated and it is possible to obtain expert evidence of the existence of child sexual abuse through the expert opinion technique. The presentation of the case aims to reinforce the importance of the clinical method in the diagnosis of genital warts, as well as to highlight the importance of sexual education in the population and the routes of transmission of this disease.
