Abstract
Background
Multimorbidity frequently necessitates multiple medications, increasing the risk of drug–drug interactions (DDIs), adverse drug reactions (ADRs), and adverse clinical outcomes. This study prospectively evaluated medication burden and its consequences among General Medicine inpatients.
