Patient-Prioritized Concerns in Hidradenitis Suppurativa: Insights from Online Discourse
By Leah E. Thomas, Mina Botros, Hana-Joy Hanks and 1 others.
Abstract
Introduction
Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) imposes a disproportionate burden on patients with skin of color, who experience delays in diagnosis, stigma, and barriers to care. Online communities offer unfiltered narratives that can illuminate patient-prioritized concerns and offer support. This study analyzes online conversations to understand the authentic HS perspective and inform clinical practice.
