Abstract / Summary
Static Floating (Mummy Swimming) is a rare athletic method in which a person floats in water with hands and feet bound. Dr. Mohammad Safdari — a 15% chemically injured war veteran and retired teacher — with over 40 world records in this discipline, is one of the prominent figures of this sport at the international level. This paper statistically analyzes 40 world records by Dr. Safdari from 2007 to 2025. The analyses include floating duration, environmental conditions, and his physiological characteristics. The results of this research show that Dr. Safdari's records are not only an athletic achievement — but a historical document of the human body's capability under difficult conditions.
