Roberto Mini (1946–2011): A Teacher With a Dosimeter in His Breast Pocket
By Walther J. Fuchs.
Abstract
A personal memorial to Dr. Roberto Mini (1946–2011), medical physicist and head of the Division of Medical Radiation Physics at the Inselspital, University Hospital Bern. Written by a former student, the text combines biographical facts with personal recollection of Mini as a teacher. Biographical data are based on the obituary by P. Manser and E. Born in SGSMP-Bulletin No. 75 (2012) and the Swiss commercial register; personal recollections and the AI-assisted watercolor-style portrait (based on the photograph in the Bulletin) are marked as such in the document.
