Abstract / Summary
Hypertension is one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. Long-term uncontrolled elevation of blood pressure can lead to structural and functional changes in the heart, blood vessels and other target organs. This article discusses modern approaches to the early detection and prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients with hypertension. Particular attention is given to regular blood pressure monitoring, electrocardiography, echocardiography and laboratory assessment. The main risk factors associated with left ventricular hypertrophy, cardiac rhythm disturbances, heart failure and other cardiovascular complications are also considered. The findings indicate that early diagnosis of hypertension, effective blood pressure control and lifestyle modification are important for preventing cardiovascular complications. A comprehensive diagnostic approach and individualized preventive strategy can help identify cardiovascular changes at an early stage and reduce long-term cardiovascular risk
