Closing keynote at a small focussed conference on Molecular, Imaging and Digital Biomarkers for Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders. European specialists in clinical care, mechanistic research, diagnosis and prognosis of disease, prediction and monitoring of therapies, AI, and molecular, imaging and digital biomarkers shared their experiences, needs and potential solutions. I added the focus on multimodal data and AI, highlighting lessons-learned in multi-omics approaches and potential approaches using agentic AI, with a strong advice to validate and confirm scientific literature that is now being poluted with problematic publications ad AI-generated false data.
