Abstract
Track A v8.1 – Intrinsic transition measures (threshold-free) – Update replacing v7, v7.1, v7.3 This update contains only v8.1 outputs plus technical note. Files v7, v7.1 and v7.3 from earlier development are intentionally omitted from this update to avoid reader confusion. They remain in previous versions of the record for historical reproducibility. What is in v8.1: Threshold-free coexistence product P(t)=R(t)·I(t) replacing arbitrary thresholds used in v7.3Intrinsic measures: A_coex = ∫P(t)dt (Simpson), P_max, t_peak, FWHM W_half, τ_eff = A_coex/P_max, dimensionless efficiency η = A_coex/(t_span·P_max), and peak_reached = t_peak < 0.95·t_endFixed t_max=50 for all runs, n_steps=3000 (4 cases) / 1500 (2D scan), N0=15 (4 cases) / 12 (scan), BDF solver rtol=1e-7, atol=1e-9All four regimes now reach peak: peak_reached=True in v8.1Fixes vs v8 / v7.x: Vigilance artifact fixed: In v8 t_max=11, P_bio(t) was still rising at t_max (t_peak=11.01=t_max, A_bio=0.035). In v8.1 t_max=50, t_peak,bio=22.92, A_bio=0.2439, W_half,bio=45.91, τ_bio=42.54, η_bio=0.868. Vigilance is slow access, not no access.Convention fixed: Rabi frequency Ω_R(N)=sqrt(δ²+4g²N) with δ=ω1-ω0. Some earlier documents (track_A_formal.pdf, exit 5.txt) used Ω_R/2 = sqrt(g²+(δ/2)²). Both are valid, differing by factor 2. We unify here: Ω_R=sqrt(δ²+4g²) for N=1, T_R=2π/Ω_R. In code we use Ω_R/2 for scaling but all plots normalized by full Ω_R. For g=17,δ=34, Ω_R=48.08 Hz, Ω_R/2=24.04 Hz.Dark-state fixed: |0,0> is a dark state of JC coupling and does not evolve (observed in exit codes 3 and 4 with sz≈0.97, n0≈0.03). From v4.1 onward and in all v8.1 runs we use active state |0>⊗|1> i.e. psi[1]=1. Previous v3-v5 runs using |0,0> were dark-state runs, discarded. See exit codes.Minor errata: field equations Eq.(24) θ^≡ω1-ω0 corrected to δ≡ω1-ω0.Files in this update (10+): v8_1_summary.csv – summary table (all peakOK=True)v8_1_traj_Vigilance.csv, v8_1_traj_Flow.csv, v8_1_traj_Endogenous.csv, v8_1_traj_Sleep.csv – trajectories t,R_math,I_math,P_math,R_bio,I_bio,P_biov8_1_scan2D_A_math.csv, A_bio.csv, tau_math.csv, tau_bio.csv, eta_math.csv, eta_bio.csv – 2D grid g∈[1,30] x γφ∈[0.05,5] (10x10 log)v8_1_products.png – R(t), I(t), P(t) with peak markersv8_1_bars.png – bar comparison A_coex, P_max, W_half, τ_eff, ηtrack_A_v8_1_intrinsic.py – Python code v8.1track_A_v8_1_technical_note.tex/.pdf – Technical note v8.1 (single author) Honesty statement (for this update): Formal/verifiable: Hilbert space, JC Hamiltonian, Lindblad dissipator, master equation, BDF, definitions of measures.Informative/instructive: Numerical defaults ω0=6 Hz, ω1=40 Hz, γa=0.1 Hz, n_th=0.05, N0, t_max, n_steps, g, γφ – for reproducibility, not fitted.Speculative/heuristic: Labels R=Reason, I=Instinct, regime names Vigilance/Flow/Endogenous/Sleep, Bit1/Bit0 ontology – thinking tool, not validated neuroscience claim. No claim about Agustina Picatto dataset in this note.Previous threshold-based analysis (v7.3) showed Vigilance 4.57→0.00 when changing I_thr_bio from 0.005 to 0.01, proving threshold dependence. v8.1 is threshold-free.
