Necessary Conditions for Primary Interoceptive Sentience in Continuous Substrates: A Falsifiable Programme
By Francesco Iavarone.
Abstract
We formulate necessary physical conditions for primary interoceptive sentience in continuous neuromorphic substrates, and specify falsifiable tests for them. The programme does not claim to be a theory of consciousness and does not claim that the conditions it formulates are sufficient. This is the main entry point (distilled version) of the P0_Distilled research programme corpus.
