Record-Specific ECG Baseline Features for Ventricular Ectopic Beat Detection and Alert Prioritization: A Retrospective MIT-BIH Study
By Md jakir Hossain.
Abstract
This preprint presents a retrospective computational study using the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database to evaluate record-specific ECG baseline features for ventricular ectopic beat detection. The study compares a global machine-learning approach with a personalized approach incorporating record-specific RR-interval features and explores probability-based alert prioritization. The work is intended for research purposes and has not been peer reviewed. It does not propose clinical decision thresholds
