Abundant Blood Flow in Partial Mole: SlowflowHD Features
By Takeshi Eguchi, Toshiyuki Hata, Riko Takayoshi and 2 others.
Abstract
A difference between partial and complete moles involves the vascularity inside the echogenic mass within the uterine cavity. 1 Conventional color Doppler characteristics of a partial mole show blood flow at the periphery of the solid mass, along with numerous focal vesicles.2 SlowflowHD is a novel Doppler technology that can depict very slow flow in embryonic cardiac hemodynamics and fetal peripheral blood vessels.[3][4][5][6][7][8] In this report, we present partial molar vascularity assessed by SlowflowHD in the early first trimester of pregnancy.
