Abstract
Clerodendrum infortunatum Linn. (Bhandira) is an important medicinal plant used in Ayurveda for treating fever, skin diseases, wounds, asthma, diabetes, inflammation, and helminthiasis.
Methods
Information was collected from Ayurvedic texts, floras, ethnomedicinal reports, and published pharmacological studies to review its morphology, phytochemistry, therapeutic uses, and pharmacological activities.
