Abstract Introduction: Primary care providers (PCPs) can safely manage non-emergency acute medical cases, reducing emergency department (ED) visits. This study examined how proximity and availability of PCPs affect inappropriate attendance (IA) at a tertiary hospital ED in eastern Singapore.
