Abstract
Abstract Background: Confidentiality is a core medical obligation, yet knowledge gaps persist among trainees. This study assessed confidentiality awareness among medical postgraduates (PGs) at a tertiary care hospital.
Methods
A cross-sectional, questionnaire-based study was conducted among 117 broad-specialty PGs (2023–2024). A validated 15-item Likert scale questionnaire (maximum score: 60) assessed clinical and research confidentiality. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-square test (Monte Carlo exact method).
