Abstract / Summary
The 2024 American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology multisociety peripheral artery disease (PAD) guideline updates the 2016 guideline by clarifying clinical terminology, using trial evidence to guide pharmacotherapy, and addressing equity and access to care. This article summarizes the main clinical recommendations and how to implement them.
