Variable viscosity effect on two layered flow of blood through time dependent stenosed artery with slip velocity
By Arun Kumar Maiti.
Abstract
This study investigates the influence of variable viscosity and slip velocity on flow rate, resistance to flow, and wall shear stress within a specific range of parameters. A two-layered model is developed, where the core region of the blood is modeled as a Casson-type non-Newtonian fluid, and the plasma layer is assumed to behave as a Newtonian fluid. The results are presented graphically and discussed thoroughly. Additionally, the findings are compared with previously reported experimental results.
