Robotic myomectomy for fertility preservation: a commentary on the Asian Society for Gynecologic Robotic Surgery (ASGRS) guidelines
By Jeong KyungAh.
Abstract
The Asian Society for Gynecologic Robotic Surgery (ASGRS) has developed practice guidelines for robotic myomectomy applicable across the diverse clinical and healthcare environments of its member countries. These guidelines aim to standardize patient selection, surgical planning, operative techniques, fertility considerations, and perioperative management in diverse Asian clinical settings. In this short communication, I provide an experience-based commentary on the ASGRS guidelines, with particular emphasis on the fertility preservation aspect of robotic myomectomy.
