Abstract
Background
Exclusive breastfeeding (ASI) is an effective intervention in improving health status and reducing infant morbidity and mortality. However, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia has not yet reached the established target. One factor suspected to play a role in the success of exclusive breastfeeding is mothers' knowledge of the benefits and practices of breastfeeding.
