Abstract
Introduction
Occupational Accidents involving Biological Material (OABM) constitute a significant public health problem, especially among nursing professionals, due to high occupational exposure and gaps in adherence to biosafety measures. In this context, Continuing Health Education (CHE) is a fundamental strategy for improving work processes and strengthening worker safety. This study aimed to report the experience of an educational action focused on the prevention of OABM, developed from the application of the Maguerez Arc. Methodology : This is an experience report carried out in a university hospital, with the participation of nurses and nursing technicians. The intervention was structured according to the five stages of the problem-solving method: observation of reality, identification of key points, theorization, elaboration of solution hypotheses, and application to reality. The educational strategies included participatory dynamics, collective discussion, clarification of doubts, and the provision of digital educational technology through an e-book accessed via QR Code.
