Abstract
Objective
This study described anchor-number preferences among orthopedic surgeons performing arthroscopic Bankart repair in Saudi Arabia and explored unadjusted associations with surgeon- and practice-related characteristics.
Methods
A cross-sectional electronic survey used purposive recruitment across five Saudi regions. Descriptive analyses included 71 respondents. Because ‘Both’ represented case-dependent use rather than a discrete anchor count, these three responses were reported descriptively and excluded from inferential comparisons; exact analyses compared 1–2 anchors (n = 18) with 3–4 anchors (n = 50). Fisher–Freeman–Halton exact tests, Cramér’s V, and bootstrap 95% confidence intervals were reported.
