Background
Systemic inflammatory activation after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is associated with postoperative complications. We investigated the association of perioperative inflammatory markers with an early composite postoperative adverse outcome and clinically indicated graft pathology after on-pump or off-pump CABG.
