A Knowledge-Based Decision-Support Framework for Structured Assessment of Suspected Abusive Head Trauma
By Sebastian Głowiński and Alina Głowińska.
Abstract
Background
Diagnosing suspected abusive head trauma (AHT) requires the integration of clinical, imaging, ophthalmologic, and contextual information. The interpretation of these findings is often challenging because they differ in diagnostic relevance and are frequently affected by uncertainty. This study presents a conceptual decision-support framework for the structured assessment of suspected AHT.
