Abstract
This study aimed to examine the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Home Opportunities for Physical Activity Check-Up (HOP-Up) questionnaire in households with children aged 2–6 years in Türkiye. This methodological study included 100 parents of preschool-aged children (mean child age: 4.51 ± 1.74 years; 46% girl). Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman-Brown coefficients. The Turkish version of the HOP-Up questionnaire demonstrated high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.882). Corrected item-total correlations ranged from 0.263 to 0.707, and the removal of any item did not increase the reliability coefficient. The KMO measure was calculated as 0.779, and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity was statistically significant (χ²=884.717, df =153, p
