Abstract
Teledermatology has become one of the fastest-growing areas of digital health and telemedicine, significantly transforming the delivery of dermatological services worldwide. Because dermatology relies heavily on visual assessment, it is particularly suitable for remote healthcare models. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of teledermatology and highlighted its potential to improve access to specialist care, especially in underserved, rural, and resource-limited settings.
