Abstract
Background
The postpartum period is a critical time during which healthcare providers must maintain close monitoring, as inadequate care can lead to various health issues for the mother. Any problems experienced by the mother will impact the well-being of the newborn because the baby will not receive optimal care, namely breast milk. The key factor in breastfeeding is ensuring the baby is positioned correctly, which will influence proper latch-on. This is important for postpartum mothers to learn, with guidance from healthcare workers who are ready to provide the necessary education and information.
