Donor-site preferences in split-thickness skin grafting: From the patient’s perspective

Objectives

To evaluate patient preferences for STSG donor sites and analyze their association with demographic variables, laterality, prior grafting history, and clinical diagnosis. Methodology: This prospective observational study included 100 patients undergoing STSG for various conditions, including post-burn raw areas, post-infective wounds, acute burns, post-traumatic defects, and post-surgical raw areas. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed to identify patterns and associations.
