Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat/PHBS) in maintaining the hygiene and health of early childhood at Bocah Emas Untirta Daycare, to describe the habituation process carried out by teachers or caregivers, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The habituation process was carried out through repeated routines, teacher role modeling, demonstrations, and communication with parents. Supporting factors include the existence of standard operating procedures and PHBS content within the curriculum, teacher involvement, and the availability of basic facilities, while inhibiting factors include handwashing facilities that are not yet child-friendly, the absence of educational media such as posters, and the lack of specific PHBS training for teachers. This study recommends strengthening facility accessibility and institutionalizing the PHBS program so that its implementation becomes safer, more uniform, and sustainable
