Abstract
Background
Post-market surveillance classifies each adverse event as a device problem, a use problem or neither. Ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release divides the transverse carpal ligament without direct visualisation, so device and procedure are difficult to separate. We describe verified reports for one such device.
