Abstract
Abstract Background: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is associated with multidrug-resistant (MDR) infections and poses a serious health hazard, necessitating the development of novel antimicrobial compounds. Bacteriocins are antimicrobial peptides produced by human microbiota to combat pathogens. This study aimed to explore the potential activity of bacteriocins against clinical isolates of MRSA.
