By Schneeberger AR, Huber CG, Liwinski T and 5 others.
Abstract
Abstract Background: The effects of assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) continue to be a controversial topic. The current study assessed violent behavior as a perpetrator and situations as a victim among patients with severe mental illness (SMI) receiving AOT compared to patients receiving non-compulsory treatment (NCT). Moreover, it assessed the effects of posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms and healthcare service use.
