Abstract
Abstract BACKGROUND: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by deficits in communication and social interaction. Motor impairments appear early and often constitute the first warning signs reported by families. Parental concerns typically emerge around 23 months, although diagnosis may occur substantially later. The aim of this study was to examine motor development in children with ASD using an ad hoc caregiver survey and to describe family members’ perceptions of motor development.
