Abstract
Abstract Background: Epidural steroid injection (ESI) is a widely used interventional technique for the conservative management of chronic low back pain secondary to disc herniation. While generally safe, it carries a recognised, though uncommon, risk of vasovagal reactions, particularly in patients positioned sitting or in the setting of needle-related anxiety.
