By C. Wang, Zaifeng Chen, Zhenhong Shao and 3 others.
Abstract
Primary pulmonary meningioma (PPM) is an exceedingly rare tumor with indolent behavior. A 53-year-old woman with multiple right pulmonary nodules underwent seven years of conservative follow-up after initial presentation. Serial computed tomography (CT) revealed progressive growth of three dominant subpleural nodules in the right middle lobe, increasing from 9 mm, 10 mm, and 14 mm at baseline (2018) to 14 mm, 16 mm, and 23 mm in 2025. The patient underwent thoracoscopic wedge resection, which histopathology confirmed as benign PPM, and she achieved a favorable prognosis.
