Abstract / Summary
To explore the current status and influencing factors of discharge readiness of patients undergoing interventional embolization for intracranial aneurysms. Patients admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University from June 2022 to July 2023 for intracranial aneurysm interventional embolization were selected by convenience sampling method and the general data questionnaire, discharge readiness scale, health literacy scale for chronic patients and general self-efficacy scale were used to investigate the patients. According to the statistical results, the total discharge readiness of patients with intracranial aneurysm embolization was 82.94 ± 5.56. Residence, family per capita monthly income, health literacy and general self-efficacy were the factors influencing hospital discharge readiness of patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional embolization, accounting for 72.9% of the total variance. The discharge readiness of patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional embolization is at a medium level. Medical staff should develop personalized health education and intervention strategies based on influencing factors and the specific situation of patients to improve their discharge readiness.
