A framework for assessing potential Oropouche virus-associated adverse fetal outcomes

Several reports have suggested Oropouche virus (OROV)-related vertical transmission and adverse fetal outcomes; however, these observations require further investigation. Herein, we propose complementary experimental and epidemiological approaches to better characterize the potential role of OROV infection in fetal and neonatal disorders.
