Predictive value of scoring systems in estimating stone-free status and complications before percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the geriatric population
By M. ZUBAROGLU, T. Kilinc, M.G. Arikan and 4 others.
Abstract
Conclusions:In geriatric PCNL patients, GSS is a stronger and clinically useful tool for predicting stone-free outcomes, while the CROES nomogram provides limited predictive value. For complications, systemic and perioperative indicators-particularly ASA score and blood transfusion-appear more informative than anatomic stone complexity scores.
