Traveling wave solutions for reaction-diffusion-advection equations driven by a general monotone operator
By Francesca Anceschi.
Abstract
We prove sufficient conditions for the existence, or non-existence, of traveling wave solutions for a reaction-diffusion-advection equation driven by a general monotone operator. Also, we characterize the set of admissible wave speeds in terms of a minimum wave speed, of which we provide an upper and lower estimate. Furthermore, we obtain a classification result and we conclude our work with the study of propagation and saturation properties of the equation under study.
