INOCA that arrested: It’s ablation that saved, not an AICD
By Pooja Shah, Jyotika Gupta and Anshuman Gupta.
Abstract
Aborted Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) is very uncommon with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). However, cases had been reported in SVT associated with ventricular arrhythmias and coronary artery disease. We report an unusual case of Acute coronary Syndrome due to non-obstructive coronary artery disease (INOCA) with significant ECG changes and raised cardiac enzymes; presented with aborted SCD secondary to SVT.
