Superior Vena Cava-Dependent Macroreentrant Atrial Tachycardia Following Right Superior Pulmonary Vein Pulsed Field Ablation
By Jumpei Ohashi, Tatsuya Hayashi, Shingo Yamamoto and 3 others.
Abstract
Pulsed field ablation (PFA) is increasingly used for pulmonary vein isolation because of its tissue selectivity and favorable safety profile. However, electrical effects on adjacent structures may occur because of the close anatomical relationship between the pulmonary veins and neighboring cardiac structures. In particular, the right superior pulmonary vein (RSPV) is anatomically close to the superior vena cava (SVC), and transient or persistent SVC electrical abnormalities after RSPV PFA have been reported1-3.
