EC-Budesonide for IgA Nephropathy After Kidney Transplantation

Abstract
In a recent issue in Kidney international reports, Gulati S et al. showed the beneficial effects of EC-budesonide in native IgAN, including proteinuria reduction, eGFR stabilization and safety in a prospective multicenter, single arm study 1. In this case report we describe the successful treatment of biopsy-proven de novo post-transplant IgA nephropathy with enteric-coated budesonide.
