Abstract
Background
We examined the association between medical checkup risk classification and serious medical events.
Methods
This case-control study in Indonesia used secondary data to examine a medical checkup risk classification system implemented by a holding company. Medical checkup risk was classified as low, medium, or high, using data available from January 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022. Serious medical events included cardiovascular emergencies, cerebrovascular emergencies, and death due to illness, were assessed from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, beginning 15 months after risk classification date. Associations were examined using conditional logistic regression analysis.
