By R. Leff, T. Kummer, J. Nagler and 5 others.
Abstract
Contrast-enhanced focused assessment with sonography for trauma (cFAST) has demonstrated superior sensitivity compared to conventional FAST for detecting solid organ injury in blunt abdominal trauma, yet no prior study has evaluated cFAST image interpretation by pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) clinicians. This study aimed to determine the sensitivity and specificity of cFAST image interpretation for identification of solid organ injuries among PEM providers following a web-based didactic.
