Abstract / Summary
A systematic review and network meta‐analysis encompassing 95 studies has found considerable variation among pharmacological interventions to reduce weight in antipsychotic‐treated patients with schizophrenia. The glucagon‐like peptide‐1 (GLP‐1) receptor agonists semaglutide, liraglutide, and exenatide were among the medications found to be associated with the greatest weight reduction with the highest‐certainty evidence.
