Beyond the Oropharynx: TTMV‐HPV DNA Detection in a p16‐Positive Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma
By Jacob Beiriger, Brayden Seliger, Silvia Soule and 2 others.
Abstract
ABSTRACT Plasma TTMV‐HPV16 DNA provided complementary molecular evidence in a p16‐positive hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, while PET/CT localized the occult left pyriform sinus primary. Serial postoperative TTMV‐HPV DNA assays remained undetectable through approximately 19 months of clinical and radiographic surveillance.
