ABSTRACT This case highlights an unusual presentation in which incarceration of a sigmoid tumor within an inguinal hernia sac resulted in colonic obstruction and subsequent cecal perforation, emphasizing the importance of prompt imaging and surgical evaluation in patients with this rare combination.
