ABSTRACT Prompt diagnosis using CT is critical in gallstone ileus, as symptoms are often nonspecific. A combined surgical approach—comprising enterolithotomy, cholecystectomy, and fistula repair—effectively addresses both the obstruction and its underlying source, achieving favorable outcomes even in complex presentations.
