Abstract / Summary
ABSTRACT Perioperative rhabdomyolysis can occur after prolonged laparoscopic nephrectomy, particularly in obese patients positioned in the lateral decubitus position. In high‐risk patients undergoing prolonged surgery, early postoperative creatine kinase measurement is essential for timely diagnosis. Prompt hydration and renal monitoring are critical to prevent acute kidney injury and optimize patient outcomes.
