Suspected C5 Nerve Root Injury Temporally Associated With Stellate Ganglion Block for Refractory Insomnia: A Case Report

ABSTRACT Suspected C5 nerve root injury temporally associated with stellate ganglion block is uncommon, and causality may be uncertain. Immediate radiating shoulder pain, lateral upper‐arm numbness, and deltoid weakness require prompt cessation, neurological assessment, electrophysiological confirmation, neurotrophic treatment, and rehabilitation. Careful needle visualization and transparent reporting of diagnostic uncertainty are essential.
